Itinerary
Marcos Llambias and his family have been receiving guests to play Polo in Buenos at El Retiro for 27 years and anyone who stays in their charming house is treated like an old friend. They have over 30 horses to fit all riding levels. Generally the days are spent with a lesson or stick and balling in the morning followed by chukkas in the afternoon. Then on the weekends the speed really picks up when local Argentines join you for the chukkas. And when you’re exhausted from the polo you can relax by the lovely swimming pool or have a leisurely bike ride or game of tennis.
Price
- Price includes – All food & beverages (including alcoholic drinks). Polo in Buenos Aires twice a day: stick and ball or a lesson in the morning and chukkas in the afternoon. Polo equipment: hard hats & sticks. All accommodation: double rooms, at the home of Marcos Llambias – please enquire if you require single accommodation. Transport from Buenos Aires city (only in the case of the polo week). All local tax.
- Price does not include – International flights to Argentina. Bank charges. Personal medical insurance (compulsory). Any visa fees and extras such as tips, laundry etc.

- Safety is paramount in an activity like Polo in Buenos Aires. By far your best safeguard against accidents is knowing and understanding horses. Marcos and his family understand horses and know their own like the backs of their hands. This is why they haven’t had an accident in all of the 27 years they’ve been receiving guests at El Retiro.
