Tango in Buenos Aires is huge, on any given day there are 15-20 Milongas (places where people meet to dance Tango). Like any night life, it is a constantly changing scene and to navigate to the best places you need an aficionado’s ear. Below is an example of a trip with some of today’s best options, however it may well change in the future.
The story of Tango is entwined with the history of Buenos Aires and this trip is as much an introduction to the city as it is to the dance. In the search for the best Milongas you will pass through a variety of the city’s neighbourhoods and we have chosen four very distinct hotels, each in a different neighbourhood, to give you an overall feel of the city.

- This trip is based on Tango however we can base a Buenos Aires itinerary around a variety of interests, including: Art, Architecture, Food & wine, Photography, Literature or a mixture of any of the above. We can also organise walking and bicycle tours and there are a variety of things you can get up to in the vicinity of Buenos Aires, such as: spending time on a cattle ranch in the Pampas, bird-watching in the Paraná Delta or a visit to the Portuguese colonial town of Colonia del Sacramento across the bay in Uruguay.
This program is an example of one of many programs we organize round Argentina. All our trips are tailor-made and we can adapt all our programs to your specific needs. And, if you would like help organizing transport, accommodation or any other activity in any other part of the country we would be very happy to help.
